  • Oats - 1/2 Cup
  • Lukewarm Water - 1 Cup
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon (jeera)
  • Onion - 1 Medium Size
  • Green Chili – 2-3
  • Desi Ghee or Olive Oil – 1-2 Teaspoon
  • Salt- As Per The Taste
  • Coriander Leaves - Handful (finely chopped)

  • Instruction

    1. Start by grinding oats into a fine powder. Mix the oats powder with wheat flour, and then add oil or desi ghee.

    2. Next, add green chili, cumin seeds, onions, coriander leaves, and salt into the mixture. Mix thoroughly.

    3. Add water gradually and knead the mixture to prepare chapati dough. Form equal-sized lemon balls and let them rest for 15 to 30 minutes.

    4. Roll out each ball into a slightly thin circle using a chapati roller, dusting with flour as needed. Be gentle to avoid tearing.

5.Meanwhile, heat a chapati tawa and carefully place the roti on it. Drizzle oil or desi ghee on top. When bubbles appear, flip the chapati and cook the other side.

    6. Finally, serve the oats roti hot with dal or any curry of your choice. Enjoy your nutritious and tasty meal!
