Kolkata Style Chicken Stew



 Ingredients

  • Chicken - 300 gm
  • Carrot - 200 gm
  • Beans - 100 gm
  • Green papaya - 100 gm
  • Capsicum - 50 gm
  • Potato - 50 gm
  • Mushroom - 30 gm
  • Broccoli - 20 gm
  • Green chili - 2 pcs
  • Onion - 15 gm
  • Ginger- garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Ghee/ mustard oil - 2 tsp
  • Lime - 1 pc
  • Crushed Black pepper - 2-3 pcs
  • Whole coriander - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as required

Instruction 
  • Firstly, wash the chicken with warm water and marinate with lime and salt, set aside for about 20 mins.
  • In a pressure cooker, heat some ghee/mustard oil, add some crushed coriander and black pepper.
  • Add chopped onion, stir for 2-3 mins and add the ginger garlic paste, add green chili and stir for 3-4 mins in low flame.
  • Add the marinated chicken, cook for 3-4 mins and then add the vegetables and cook for 5 mins.
  • Add 3 cups of warm water, add salt.
  • Close the lid of the pressure cooker and wait till one whistle.
  • And your delicious chicken stew is ready!
  • Add some lemon, chopped coriander leaves and serve with whole wheat bread and enjoy!

Ingredients Garlic - 2 Tsp Beans - 1/4 Cup Carrots - 1/4 Cup Onions - 1/4 Cup Broccoli - 1 Cup Bell Peppers - 1 Cup Mushrooms - 1 Cup All Spices - As Per Taste Olive Oil - 2 tsp Instruction: To start, place the pan on a medium flame and add some olive oil. Allow it to heat. Next, add garlic cloves and fry until the raw smell disappears. Now, add carrots, beans, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and broccoli. Add salt, oregano, chili flakes, and black pepper to the vegetables. Continue cooking well.
