Sweet Potato Soup



Ingredients
  • Sweet Potato - 2 medium size (chopped)
  • Carrot - 1 small size (chopped)
  • Onion - 1 small size (chopped)
  • Ginger - 1 tsp (diced)
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Salt According To Taste
  • Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves To Garnish
  • Yogurt - 1 tsp



  • Instruction
    1. To begin, lightly coat a pan with olive oil spray and sauté the diced onions until they become tender. 
    2. Next, introduce finely chopped ginger and garlic, stirring for about 30 seconds. 
    3. Add diced carrots and sweet potatoes, continuing to cook for an additional two to three minutes.


    4. Add salt, pepper, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, followed by water. Allow the mixture to simmer until the vegetables reach a soft consistency. 
    5. Transfer the contents to a blender and process until a creamy, thick texture is achieved.


    6. Return the blended soup to the pan, adding 1/2 glass of water, and simmer for some more time. 
    7. Garnish with a dollop of homemade yogurt and fresh coriander.


    8. Your healthy, low calorie soup is now ready to be served.
