Ingredients
- Chicken - 600 gms
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala (optional) - 1 tsp
- Salt -1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Crushed fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Tomato paste - 2 pcs
Instruction
- In a bowl, mix curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt, turmeric powder, crushed fennel seeds. Whisk the mixture well.
- Add 600 gms of chicken in the mixture and mix until well combined.
- Marinate for about 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, add chicken pieces in a hot skillet.
- Cover & cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
- After 10 mins, open the lid and stir the mixture once.
- Again cover and cook for 10 mins (until chicken is tender).
- Add tomato paste and mix well, cook for 2-3 mins on medium flame.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and boil for 5-6 mins.
- Add some kasoori methi and coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Voila! Your oil free Healthy Chicken is ready to enjoy!
- Serve it with rice or roti.
