Ingredients
- Soy chunks - 1 cup
- Mint leaves - 2 tbsp.
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp.
- Green chillies - 2-3 pcs
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 3-4 pcs
- Onion - 1 pc
- Tomato (chopped) - 1pc
- Deshi ghee - 1 tsp.
- Whole spices (Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves) - 2pcs each
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4th tsp.
- Salt as per taste
- Soaked rice - 1/2 cup
- Water - 1 cup
Instructions
- Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 5 mins.
- For the green chutney, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onion and grind this into a smooth paste.
- Next, heat deshi ghee in a pressure cooker, add whole spices, green chutney, tomato, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook them well.
- Once the masalas are cooked add soy chunks, rice and mix everything well.
- Now add some water and pressure cook this for one whistle.
- And that's it! Your protein rich, super delicious lunch is ready to serve.
