Green Soy Pulao



Ingredients

  1. Soy chunks - 1 cup
  2. Mint leaves - 2 tbsp.
  3. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp.
  4. Green chillies - 2-3 pcs
  5. Ginger - 1 inch
  6. Garlic - 3-4 pcs
  7. Onion - 1 pc 
  8. Tomato (chopped) - 1pc
  9. Deshi ghee - 1 tsp.
  10. Whole spices (Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves) - 2pcs each
  11. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  12. Garam masala - 1/4th tsp.
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Soaked rice - 1/2 cup
  15. Water - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 5 mins.
  2. For the green chutney, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onion and grind this into a smooth paste.
  3. Next, heat deshi ghee in a pressure cooker, add whole spices, green chutney, tomato, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook them well.
  4. Once the masalas are cooked add soy chunks, rice and mix everything well.
  5. Now add some water and pressure cook this for one whistle.
  6. And that's it! Your protein rich, super delicious lunch is ready to serve.
