Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients

  • Chicken/Vegetable Broth- 3 Cups
  • Grated Ginger - 1
  • Chopped Green Onion - 1
  • Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
  • Beaten Eggs - 2
  • Cornstarch - 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt - As Per Taste
  • Cold Water - 2 Cups
  • Instruction


  • 1. Begin by bringing chicken/vegetable broth to a boil in a soup pot.


    2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix it into the broth.


    3. In a separate bowl, combine water and cornstarch. Stir this mixture into the boiling broth.


    4. Next, stir the hot broth into a slightly beaten egg.


    5. Slowly add the egg mixture back into the hot broth, stirring constantly.


    6. Cook until the soup becomes clear and slightly thickened, maintaining a constant stir.


    7. Finally, garnish the soup with scallions, and it's ready to be served hot. Enjoy!
